Gmela Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Gmela. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our tours. By booking with us, you agree to the policies outlined below. Please read carefully, as they contain important information about your rights and responsibilities.

Consent to Photography and Videography

By participating in a Gmela tour, you consent to being photographed and/or recorded during the experience. These images and videos may be used by Gmela for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes in various formats, including social media platforms, websites, and other advertising materials.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, you must notify us in writing prior to the tour. By participating, you grant Gmela a perpetual, royalty-free, and irrevocable license to use, edit, and publish your likeness. Please note that no compensation will be provided for the use of such media, and you waive the right to review or approve any final materials where your image or likeness appears.

Eligibility and Client Responsibility

Gmela tours are designed for individuals aged 18 years and older. Minors under the age of 18 may participate only if a parent or legal guardian completes the booking on their behalf. By booking, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Participants are required to comply with all instructions provided by Gmela representatives to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the tour. Additionally, all local laws and regulations of the tour destination must be followed. Disruptive, illegal, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund. Decisions regarding removal are at the sole discretion of Gmela representatives.

Payment Terms

To secure your reservation, full payment must be made within 72 hours of booking. Failure to make payment within this period will result in the cancellation of your reservation.

Payments are non-refundable after the 72-hour cancellation window. By securing your spot, you enable us to make commitments to our vendors, such as transportation providers and entry locations. These upfront costs are non-refundable to us, and as a result, we are unable to provide refunds beyond this timeframe.

Rescheduling Policy

If you need to reschedule your tour, requests made at least 72 hours before the scheduled tour date are free of charge. Requests made less than 72 hours prior to the tour may incur additional fees and are subject to availability.

While Gmela will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, we cannot guarantee availability for your preferred date. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any associated fees will be communicated during the process.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 72 hours of booking are eligible for a full refund, provided the tour is not scheduled within the next 48 hours. Once this 72-hour period has passed, all payments become non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after this window, missed tours, or unused services. Refunds will also not be provided if participation is terminated due to non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Force Majeure

Gmela is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or modifications to itineraries caused by events outside our reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, or hurricanes.
  • Acts of terrorism, civil unrest, or government restrictions.
  • Public health emergencies or strikes.

In these cases, refunds or rescheduling will be at the sole discretion of Gmela and subject to policies set by our vendors.

Booking Changes by Gmela

While we strive to deliver the itinerary as planned, unforeseen circumstances may require modifications to the tour schedule, accommodations, or services. These changes may result from weather, safety concerns, vendor availability, or other factors beyond our control. In such cases, we will make every effort to provide equivalent alternatives and will communicate changes as early as possible.

Refunds or credits will not be issued for minor changes unless deemed necessary by Gmela. Major changes, if unavoidable, will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner. This includes:

  • Treating fellow guests, staff, and local communities with kindness and respect.
  • Following all safety instructions provided by Gmela representatives.
  • Avoiding disruptive, illegal, or dangerous behavior.

Failure to adhere to this code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the tour without refund. Participants are also responsible for any damages or costs incurred due to their actions and agree to reimburse Gmela or its vendors if necessary.

Limitations of Liability

Gmela is not liable for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the tour.
  • Injuries, illnesses, or damages resulting from participation in the tour, including accidents caused by third-party vendors or participants themselves.
  • Expenses arising from missed connections, travel delays, or cancellations.

Participants agree to release Gmela from any claims or liabilities associated with their participation in the tour and acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety and well-being.
