Role Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a creative Social Media Manager to oversee and manage our social media platforms, primarily Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This role focuses on driving engagement, increasing brand visibility, and building a community around our tours and travel-based services.


The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, community engagement, and the ability to execute a consistent posting schedule that aligns with our brand’s goals.


Expected Salary: 1,500 cedis per month


Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Scheduling:

  1. Develop and maintain a content calendar, posting at least three times per week (e.g., reels, standard post, interactive/community post, stories)
  2. Create engaging posts, including reels, photos, and interactive content related to travel, news in Ghana, and trending topics to encourage engagement

Community Management:

  1. Respond to comments and messages promptly to build a positive and interactive community
  2. Monitor and engage with audience feedback to foster meaningful relationships with followers

Story Management & Highlights:

  1. Post stories at least three times per week to showcase tours and community updates
  2. Populate highlights with relevant content, including pictures from tours and informational snippets, and FAQs

Analytics & Reporting:

  1. Track and report on engagement metrics, reach, and content performance
  2. Use insights to recommend improvements and strategies for increased audience interaction

Page Maintenance:

  1. Ensure that all content is consistent with the brand’s tone and aesthetic
  2. Regularly update and refresh page highlights and pinned posts to keep the platform dynamic


Requirements

Experience:

  1. Prior experience in social media management, content creation, or writing is highly preferred
  2. Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook features and tools

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in creating engaging visual and written content using editing tools like Canva and Capcut
  2. Strong communication and organizational skills
  3. Ability to develop strategies to grow page activity and boost bookings

Other Requirements:

  1. Must be based in Ghana
  2. Flexible and open to growth opportunities.
  3. Ability to keep up with a self-created posting schedule consistently

Education:

  1. A college degree is not required, but a portfolio or proven experience is a plus
